Jennifer and Gordon Roe had been publishing a really fantastic local paper for years called Tastebud Magazine which brimmed with reviews, recipes and kitchen advice that made feeding families with locally grown produce easy and fun. When they called with the idea to move their passion to the web, we signed up. The Roes were thrilled with the results and excited about some things that an interactive space allowed
long-time readers to do that traditional print did not, such as a recipe search. You can also thumb through past issues and check a Colander of Events to see what cooking lessons and farmers’ markets are coming to your area. The biggest win, according to Jennifer and Gordon, was how user-friendly the site is. You can access it from home while you are sipping a beverage that you saw in the last issue!
